Chapter 432 - Chapter 434 Poet

Watching the Poet slowly collapse in front of him, Sun Jack's pupils shrank to a minimum, his eyes filled with disbelief.

The Poet had died just like that, and to save him?

In just a few hours, he hardly knew the Poet, and believed the Poet hardly knew him either.

Yet now, he could easily give up his own life to save him, as simple as eating a bowl of noodles.

For a moment, he felt utterly choked up,

This was the first time someone had unhesitatingly given their life for him, especially someone he had only recently met and who was mentally ill.

Sun Jack walked over, his expression very complex as he helped the disfigured Poet up, his eyes gradually moistening as he watched him die.

"Poet, although I don't know why you saved me, rest assured, I will live on with the hope you've given me! From now on, you are my brother!"

Trembling, he reached out and slowly closed the Poet's wide-open eyes, but the next second, they opened again.

Then, the smoky body of the Poet suddenly stiffened and he sat up straight from Sun Jack's arms. "Ye, Ye, Ye~ I've got an inspiration!"

"Holy shit!" Sun Jack was startled, the sorrow brewing inside him had not even subsided when, to his shock, the Poet came back to life?!

"Wait, you're not dead?! How's that possible? Didn't Saotome say the prison's AI system has an anti-intrusion program? Anyone who connects should be dead."

However, the Poet ignored Sun Jack's words, he jumped up and began singing while doing a street dance.

"YOYOyo, JB, JB, loud and bright, shining in the center of the stage, In every beat and breath!!"

"Is this abandoning poetry to ruin rap now?" Sun Jack watched the figure before him helplessly.

Clearly, to this guy, risking his own life to save someone else was far less important than his rap music. Sun Jack saw shadows of those death rock hippies in him.

Although he didn't know why the other party was still alive, seeing him come back to life again made him truly happy, at least he hadn't contributed to another person's death.

"JB, JB, in the game, you're a legend, In the struggle, the fire in the heart remains unblocked, every night ignites hope, dreams and sweat weave into a chapter, the crazier it gets as you walk this road!"

"Enough, enough, stop singing. What's up with the prison AI system? Has it turned into an Awakened AI?"

Just as Sun Jack asked this, he felt his whole body tremble violently, but he soon realized it wasn't his body shaking—it was the entire Number 3 prison shaking!

As he looked through the thick glass, watching the trash-strewn seabed growing farther from him, Sun Jack suddenly became excited, "Great, Number 3 prison is surfacing!"

No sooner had he said this, than Sun Jack suddenly thought of something, immediately turning around and running toward the room where his brain was imprisoned. "Poet! Hurry and retrieve your brain! Once we surface, we'll escape together!"

Sun Jack sprinted through Number 3 prison, and just as he reached the cell where his brain was held, he saw someone controlling a mechanical arm pulling his brain and the device out from layers of glass.

As Sun Jack arrived weapon in hand, the man immediately lifted Sun Jack's brain high, poised to smash it to the ground.

As Sun Jack's brain shook violently, hitting the glass, Sun Jack felt a moment of dizziness, nausea, and a partial disconnection from his body. "Wait, wait!"

Fighting the dizziness, Sun Jack quickly put down his rifle, indicating he was no threat. "Let's talk this out! Friend! Put my brain down first!"

The FFP employee looked extremely agitated and excited, apparently high on something before he came.

Clutching Sun Jack's head tightly, he jerked his chin forward. "Go! To the control panel! Switch to manual, activate self-destruct!"

"Are you insane? How is that a way to threaten someone? If it blows up, I'm dead too, aren't I?"

The guy blinked, then realizing Sun Jack was right, once again lifted the brain high and threatened, "Then go switch to manual, control prison number three, stop it from surfacing!"

"No, dude, put the brain down first." Sun Jack tried to soothe him. "You're just working for FFP, the boss makes money and you risk your life, is it worth it? Is it really?"

"How about this, you give me my brain, and once we get out, you can come work for my company, name your price!"

"If you don't believe me, go ask around. I, Sun Jack, am not like those companies. I absolutely keep my word!"

However, facing Sun Jack's temptation, the other man remained unmoved, a hint of fear in his eyes, saying, "You don't understand FFP at all, you don't know what kind of company this is!"

"Once you become their target, your life is already on a countdown! No one can escape! No one!"

"Do you think you can really get out? Impossible! Pure delusion! There's nothing Chairman Lan Meng wants done that doesn't get done!"

Just as he was getting very worked up, suddenly, a pair of hands reached from behind, snatched the jar holding Sun Jack's brain, and then lifted it up, smashing it hard onto the man's head.

With a clang, as the man dropped to the ground, Sun Jack also felt a moment of intense dizziness, "Fuck, my brain!"

"JB JB, your fire never falters, no fashion. Your voice pierces through the clouds, every night filled with your singing, unwavering in the journey, every night is your battle!"

Of course, the one lending a hand was Poet, and with his completely unrhymed rap, he brought Sun Jack's brain back to him.

"Don't you have any other weapons on hand? Did you have to use my brain to hit him?" Sun Jack, with a splitting headache, snatched back his brain, almost fearing it could sever the link to his body with a bit more force.

Just then, Sun Jack saw Poet's expression suddenly turn profoundly serious, frozen on the spot as if something terrifying had happened.

Sun Jack's heart tightened instantly; he had never seen such a serious expression on Poet's face; the man feared nothing, so what was he afraid of now?

"What happened? Sun Jack quickly picked up his weapon, alert to his surroundings."

After a long and tense few seconds, Poet's tightly pursed lips slowly opened. "Fuck, I'm stuck."
