Sun Jack lay in the acid rain, dizzy with too many memories to digest, as if he heard a madwoman laughing loudly in his ear, the laughter growing ever shriller until it turned into tinnitus.
He shook his head, struggled to get up from the ground, and looked at the weeping Sun Jack before him.
There must have been a problem somewhere, as sparks of various kinds kept flashing from his neural interface in the falling rain.
The other's situation seemed even worse than his own; the number of clone humans he had duplicated was no more or no less than his own.
"I am Sun Jack, I really am Sun Jack..." the other said in despair.
Quickly downloading a micro-expression software for a fast scan, Sun Jack found that no matter how the FFP had injected the Second Personality, with the onset of severe cyber psychosis symptoms both intelligence and emotional quotient seemed unstable.
Seeing this, Sun Jack stepped forward and said, "Yes, I know! You are Sun Jack! But if you truly are Sun Jack, then you should know even better what needs to be done now! We have no right to feel wronged, we have no right!"
The one who had wanted to fight Sun Jack to the death showed no extreme reaction to Sun Jack's approach.
"I'm human too! I'm alive too! Why don't I have the right to feel aggrieved!" the Second Personality roared, "Why endure all this in this damn place! Why me!"
The tear-stricken man looked up at the light grey clouds, clenched his fists, and shouted with a suppressed voice, "Mom!! I want to go home! I want to go home!!"
Sun Jack grabbed the other's arms and shook them hard, shouting, "You can't go back! That's not your home! Those memories are fake! Face reality!"
"You feel wronged, what about the people who died? Think about those who are dead! Do they feel wronged? Do they feel wronged!!" While steadying the other's emotions, he quickly sent a message to Xiao Ting.
He wanted to call her over while the other was half-crazed from cyber psychosis, to clear the Second Personality from the Sun Jack before him.
Although reluctant, Xiao Ting eventually came because she knew as long as her company was in Metropolis, she couldn't afford to offend the other too much.
But such a dangerous place, she didn't dare to come alone, instead, she controlled a robot to come over.
Just as Xiao Ting was about to link to the brain of the Second Personality Sun Jack, the data cable she was extending was blocked by a hand from the other.
He looked up, his eyes complex as he looked at himself. "You're right, I am Sun Jack, I understand what I should do, sacrifice others, and sacrifice myself."
As he spoke, he raised his prosthetic right hand, his metal index finger switched to a gun barrel, quickly swapping to armor-piercing bullets through the system, and pulled the trigger against his head.
There was a bang as flesh was torn apart, revealing the black subcutaneous armor beneath, yet he continued pulling the trigger.
"Since the FFP has implanted a Second Personality in my brain, it's hard to guarantee that there aren't other bombs planted in addition to this, so as Sun Jack, I must kill myself without hesitation."
The gunshots continued, and with each shot, the subcutaneous armor was breached, and the bullets burrowed viciously into the titanium skull.
"Are you fucking crazy?"
Xiao Ting was just about to stop him, but Sun Jack held out his hand to block her. He looked at his suicidal self and said, "You're right, this really is the most prudent way, especially under the current circumstances. You've proven that you really are Sun Jack."
His skull had been penetrated, revealing the brain inside. He looked at the other and said with a very complex expression, "Tell me, if I die, do I get to feel aggrieved like them?"
After saying that last sentence, he pulled the trigger on his own brain one last time.
Seeing his own body lying in a pool of blood, Sun Jack reached to touch the rain on his face and flung it away forcefully, "No, even in death you don't have the right to feel aggrieved. Death is a form of release for people like us, but we can't use that release to evade our responsibilities."
Although he had dealt with the other party, Sun Jack felt no joy at all, because from beginning to end, he was only fighting against himself.
The other, except for having a Second Personality, was completely the same as himself, and the feeling of killing oneself was not pleasant.
"Fuck the FFP!" Sun Jack cursed vehemently, the culprit behind these events.
After that, he activated his Combat Prosthesis throughout his body without hesitation, flew up, and started to clear the remaining Second Personality Clones with the other Clones.
Xiao Ting looked up at everything overhead, then down at the body on the ground, and cursed fiercely, "Fuck, what a bunch of idiots!"
With the death of the Second Personality, the situation on Shendong Street gradually came under control. At least the AA Steelheart and others who had arrived earlier could finally figure out which side to help.
With the addition of others, all of the Second Personality Clones were quickly eliminated, and the Digital Personality was directly cut off by Sun Jack, disconnecting it from control of all the zombie computers and mechanical combat units.
Although this meant the complete death of the Digital Personality, Sun Jack could no longer care about that, because now a greater trouble was approaching.
"Tapai! Take control of the Metropolis network! Notify all corporate troops in the Metropolis to assemble! Breeding Factory! Full production lines! Clone Sun Jack completely!"
With the end of the internal strife, the Metropolis, which had been headless, finally started to react to the formidable FFO army. All combat units began to assemble, whether it was the various robots on the shelves or construction machinery rebuilding buildings, as long as it could move, everything was set in motion.
Seeing that things were going wrong, many savvy companies directly lowered their buildings to the ground, trying to avoid company losses as much as possible.
Every troop stationed at a company controlled by Sun Jack set off, and though their models were varied, they rapidly gathered and nearly covered the entire eastern outskirts of the city.
When FFP's corporate troops became visible to the naked eye, the whole atmosphere started to become more and more tense.
Standing on a Spacecraft Carrier, Sun Jack quickly waved his hand, "Move forward, don't let the Metropolis become a battlefield!" All combat units pressed forward quickly, and all flying units had already taken off and begun to exchange fire in the clouds.
Within the light gray clouds, balls of fiery explosions fell continuously like a meteor shower.
Just as the battle was about to commence, suddenly a communication link popped up on Sun Jack's system interface, and it was a code he found somewhat familiar.
