As everything around stabilized, Sun Jack saw Solomon conversing with another Mechanical Demon not far away, and evidently, this Mechanical Demon was the mercenary leaning on the tank outside.
When he saw they were not looking in his direction, he breathed a sigh of relief. As he carefully edged closer, their conversation became clear—they seemed to be arguing.
"Whether or not the people have arrived isn't our problem; we did our job, and we want full payment!" The Mechanical Demon said irritably.
"Do you think that's possible? You want to get paid before the job's even finished?" Solomon looked at him with a mocking expression.
"FUCK! Do you know anything?!! If that cannon had been only slightly off! We almost got killed by the Spacecraft Carrier there!" The Mechanical Demon continued to fight for his interests.
"Have you forgotten who I am?" Solomon's dog-like face turned cold as it seemed the argument tired him.
