"Damn!" Hearing what the other person said, Sun Jack threw on a transparent raincoat and hurried after them.
"Hey, where are you going?" Song 6PUS's voice rang out in Sun Jack's neural system.
"I'm keeping a safe distance! It's at least a bit safer this way!" Sun Jack watched AA in the distance, through the heavy rain.
"All this fuss over a decoy."
"Shut the hell up! That's a living person! Tapai, give him a beating!"
AA walked silently forward, following the system's route, while Sun Jack stealthily followed from a distance.
Sun Jack didn't know if doing this would make the situation any better, but he couldn't stand doing nothing.
Seeing Sun Jack so determined, the others said nothing more.
Gradually, as time passed, the lights in the buildings around them went out one by one, and the whole street became very dark.
Looking at the brightly lit C2 District in the distance, Sun Jack asked on the team channel, "Why is this place so dark? It's different from the other areas."
