Hearing these words, the two who were about to take off slowly descended from the sky.
"No," Sun Jack directly rejected Tapai's suggestion.
"Even if, as you say, his cognition and memory are both Sun Jack's, his very existence is for the FFP's plan, and he must be kept away from Metropolis as soon as possible."
Containing his anger, Sun Jack said to the other, "If your cognition really is Sun Jack's, and not just a pretense, then you should know even better what Sun Jack should be doing right now."
"Oh, how come you don't just kill yourself? I suspect even more that you plan to secretly help FFP against us. You seem even more fake," Suit Sun Jack retorted unconvinced.
"Alright, enough," Linda Linda intervened, stopping the two. She looked left and right; no matter from the demeanor or build, both resembled the Sun Jack in her mind, at least to the extent that she couldn't tell them apart.
"Gentlemen, although one of you might be plotting secretly and one might be real, haven't you both done nothing so far?"
"If it really comes to that, just keep being as you are for now, and when one of you gets caught doing something, we can sort out the real from the fake, how about that?"
"Linda, that's not going to work. If this imposter actually does something, it'll be too late by then. God knows what FFP wants with someone like this here," Suit Sun Jack said unwillingly.
Meanwhile, Sun Jack, hearing this, was so enraged he almost spat blood; these were clearly his own words.
"No worries, I'll keep an eye on it," Tapai said as he pulled two chips from his body and handed one to each Sun Jack. "Plug these in, I can monitor you through them."
"If you do this, how would the fake dare to make a move?" Suit Sun Jack took the chip and without hesitation, inserted it into his ear, looking at the other Sun Jack as he spoke.
"That's exactly what I wanted to say," Sun Jack also reached out, taking the chip and inserting it into his ear.
"Isn't it better not to make a move? I don't mind having two Sun Jacks. Besides, can you even be sure that you are one hundred percent the real Sun Jack and not a pretense by FFP?"
Hearing this, both Sun Jacks stiffened their expressions, their complexions turning very unsightly at the same time.
With the chips inserted, this matter came to a temporary resolution, as other Sun Jack clones went back to their posts since Metropolis could not stop operating.
Now, the Sun Jack clones were embedded in the city like screws, each in a crucial position. If they had all stayed here today just to spectate, the entire Metropolis would have come to a halt.
"Tapai, come here, I have something to ask you about what just happened," Suit Sun Jack said as he motioned for Tapai to come over.
However, as Tapai made his way over, Sun Jack immediately grabbed him, clearly upset, "Why should you go over there? Come on, let's go this way!"
Sun Jack did not go far, simply to the Utopia Security cafeteria. As he connected to the Utopia Security company system, he began searching for any trace of his past mistakes.
But after a thorough check, Sun Jack found that the other party's actions indeed had no issues whatsoever; he would have done the same things himself.
"Could it be... am I really the fake? But that shouldn't be right. Number 43 divulged the whole plan right in front of me, it cannot be that this guy is playing a double agent game with me, can it?" Sun Jack thought, deciding to conduct a self-examination just to be sure.
"Isn't this quite good? As long as it can be maintained forever. Then the fake becomes the real," Tapai said, appearing very optimistic.
"Do you think that's possible? Don't forget, we can't wait. After FFP resolves their internal conflict, do you think they'll just let me be?"
Tapai thought seriously for a moment, then spoke, "He wouldn't, if I were the supreme controller of FFP, I would never allow the kind of thoughts that fight even in death to spread. Otherwise, he would have to pay more costs or cede more benefits to solve the problem."
"If you can think of that, naturally, I can too. I've caused him such a loss, plus the Kang Tao Virus incident, he's already sworn enemies with us."
"Even if we do nothing and just maintain the status quo, it's not beneficial for us." Sun Jack started devouring a bowl of beef noodles.
"I can't decentralize power now, I must centralize it to integrate Metropolis to face the upcoming crisis, whether by exhausting the military as soon as possible or by forming alliances with nearby cities, action must be taken quickly."
"It's us who are in a hurry, not them."
"What do we do then? If, according to your assumption, he is fake, you still can't prove it. Without evidence, you can't convince the Clones, you can't even convince me."
"I know; I am trying to find a way. Damn it, you're not helping me think either."
After gulping down his noodles, Sun Jack stood up abruptly, "I'm going to check on the Digital Personality; after such a long time, his humanity must be almost gone."
"You're too late, that Sun Jack has already replaced the Digital Personality's memory."
Upon hearing this, Sun Jack's face changed instantly, "Not good!"
The Digital Personality was one of his major aids—if it had been controlled by the enemy, they were in big trouble.
He hurried to the elevator, anxious, and descended to the underground machine room floor with Fan Weng'an.
Upon arriving at the machine room and seeing the standby screens, Sun Jack's mood became very nervous.
Suddenly, the screen lit up, and a voice sounded in Sun Jack's ear. "What are you here for?"
Tapai pointed at Sun Jack's head, "He's here to watch porn."
"This is no time for jokes!" Sun Jack glared at him, then turned back to the screen. "Is everything normal on the network side?"
"Everything is normal. I have now accessed the Metropolis network and am leading BCPD's cyber troops in monitoring and verifying cybercrimes." The Digital Personality's voice was still cold, much as before.
"What else? What other tasks are you doing?"
"Conducting network virus checks on the Metropolis network, upgrading firewalls, archiving DNA technology databases..."
As the Digital Personality continued to list various task names, Sun Jack's spirits gradually lifted.
"It seems... it looks like... there's no problem...?"
Just as Sun Jack was thinking this, the Digital Personality suddenly blurted out a phrase, "In collaboration with Sun Jie IP operations, I am designing a variety show based on previous plots, like 'Real or Fake Sun Jie.'"
"Sun Jie IP has huge potential. This will significantly enhance the IP's value and increase the value of Golden Stock foreign exchange."
Sun Jack stared intently at the Digital Personality's screen, "You mean... you want to commercialize Sun Jie?"
