"I feel that I am human." Tapai's voice made Sun Jack's heart shudder.
He had considered various issues before coming, but he had never considered this situation.
"What to do?! What to do!"
Just as his heart reached his throat, the reaction of the other party also caught Sun Jack off guard.
"What makes you think that?"
Without any warning or movement, the other party continued in an unexcited tone as if what Tapai had said was something very ordinary.
"Because my master once chose a purpose for me, he wanted me to be as human as possible, so I think I am human. Do you think I'm not?" With that, Tapai directly projected what Sun Jack had said before.
"I think you aren't. Now, proceeding to the next test. Imagine there are two people in the desert..."
When Sun Jack saw this scene, he breathed a sigh of relief, and then he heard Tapai's voice.
"Look how scared you are, almost peeing yourself. It's just the Turing test. He doesn't care what I say. He is understanding my thought logic through questioning."
"Get lost! Just answer your questions! Still have the nerve to shoot the breeze with me."
Seeing Tapai and the other party still asking questions unhurriedly, Sun Jack knew it was time to act, having not come to this wretched place for fun.
With that thought, Sun Jack began to carefully observe the layout of the entire room.
The room was airtight, and the walls, like the exterior corridor, were made of a metallic-like material, which showed a thickness of at least two meters by its thickness when they first entered.
The room was very minimalist, besides a bunch of sophisticated equipment connected to Tapai, it didn't even have a stool to sit on.
After switching on the Hacking Device built into his Battle Armor, electromagnetic radiation became visible in the air around Sun Jack. However, the room was very clean, shielded, with no breakthrough points evident.
Considering his options, Sun Jack turned to the AI that was questioning Tapai, "Excuse me, where is the restroom?"
Upon hearing Sun Jack's question, the other party silently looked over, and a laser beam shot from its eyes, quickly scanning the lower half of Sun Jack's body. "The urine storage level in your bladder is 33.91%, and your urinary system is also fine, so I think you can hold it."
"Damn! You can tell that?" Sun Jack was startled, acknowledging these guys were really into scrutiny.
As Sun Jack was pondering other ways to find, suddenly from outside the room came a loud explosion, followed instantly by the room flickering between light and darkness.
"What's happening? Is there a power outage?" Just when this thought crossed Sun Jack's mind, Tapai next to him suddenly moved. As the data cables connecting his body burst into sparks, the entire room plunged into darkness.
Just as Sun Jack activated the automatic defense system of his Battle Armor, deciding to exploit this emergency to break the situation,
he felt a hand grab his forearm, the cold mechanical touch instantly made Sun Jack realize that it was Tapai who had grabbed him!
"Shh, activate the Mimetic Camouflage and Thermal Shielding! Follow me!" Tapai's voice resonated within Sun Jack's system.
"Tapai?" Confused, Sun Jack immediately activated the Mimetic Camouflage and the Thermal Shielding, following Tapai outside.
Facing Sun Jack's inquiry, Tapai did not speak a word, which made Sun Jack furrow his brows. What's going on with Tapai?
Ever since the power outage, his reactions had completely taken Sun Jack by surprise.
Tapai's actions had always been about his affairs, but this time was different; this time he hadn't received any orders. "Could it really be an AI Crisis?"
Watching as Tapai controlled the sealing of the thick door to open, Sun Jack couldn't help but ask again, "What on earth is going on? Speak up!"
"What's going on? Shouldn't I be asking you that? You went through great pains to report me, bringing me here, it can't really be just to see if I'm an awakened AI, right?"
"What?!" Hearing this, Sun Jack's scalp tingled, and he almost broke out in cold sweat, instantly checking the live-action perspective of the Holy Grail, only to find it stuck in the previous room.
"Stop looking, the recent explosion made the third department raise the blocking level to the highest. The Holy Grail side can't see your performance now, Guan Sanke can't see what we're discussing at all," Tapai's voice rang out again.
"Fuck! Your... your memory wasn't deleted?"
Sun Jack's eyes widened in shock as he stared at Tapai in mimetic form, "He knows about the live-action show, he knows about Guan Sanke? He knows everything?"
"Yeah, if my memory was deleted, I might really believe that you were concerned about me, personally guarding me as we entered this Dragon's Den and Tiger's Lair," Tapai said sarcastically.
By this time, they had already passed through the gate and reached the outside corridor. Hearing footsteps, Sun Jack quickly lifted Tapai up to the ceiling, where both of them hung upside down, watching the hurriedly passing department three members below.
Although he hadn't figured out what exactly was happening outside, the matter with Tapai now took precedence over everything else!
"Tapai, start from the beginning! What on earth is happening?"
At this moment, Sun Jack was both excited and anxious; excited that Tapai apparently knew everything, and anxious about how his memory had been preserved.
"Since we came down from the Holy Grail, my memory has always been intact, and I knew everything about 'Revolution Sun Jack', as well as what you've been hiding from me."
"How did you preserve that memory? You couldn't have, you had no way to hide it in front of Guan Sanke!"
Just as Sun Jack was overwhelmed with excitement, one statement from Tapai instantly calmed him down, "The same way you preserved your memory, it was 'X.'
"X?" Sun Jack's mind instantly pictured that troublemaker with lightning over his hair, and upon thinking of him, Sun Jack quickly found a reasonable explanation.
As Guan Sanke's arch-nemesis, his helping Sun Jack was not excessive.
He wasn't surprised by the adversary's extensive help, but what surprised him was how little he had helped Sun Jack. However, helping out just by preserving Tapai's memories – it was miserly to consider this as small assistance. It seemed the guy really wanted the horse to run but didn't want to feed it.
"He wanted me to assist you, helping you break free from Guan Sanke's control. He said doing it alone would be too difficult for you."
