The Regensburg National Research Institute, and especially the Deep Diver Research Center that had just been established in the eastern part of the institute's grounds, had completely fulfilled the old man's imagination of what a librarian's sanctuary should be.
It was truly marvelous. The Church of Justice had specifically built two purification ritual magic circles for them, and with the addition of spiritual energy, they could cleanse the returning librarians freshly from their deep dives, freeing them from the fear of contamination. This turned the Deep Diver Research Center into a holy site in the eyes of all librarians, and in order to get a chance to use it daily, they had to draw lots to determine their turn.
