Xu Yang climbed up the sturdy spine of Pelagia, carefully avoiding the bone spurs that dotted its surface, with Rinne following close behind.
Once they were seated securely, Pelagia's wings fluttered, and she took off from the mine, flying them through the Moon's world protected by a barrier.
"The place is littered with the company's devices," Rinne saw countless satellites and probes scattered in space, at least half of them launched by the Lighthouse Core, their ambitions for the Starry Sea enormous.
"My father's barrier protects our privacy," Pelagia said as she flew through the sky, "Inside the barrier, half the world has become the domain of dragons. We can soar, reproduce, and survive, just like on the Ground, without any difference."
"I must be dreaming," Rinne said, feeling dizzy on the back of the giant dragon.
