Long before, when Nyx was the first to discover that Princess Io of Pislatius had vanished at the edge of the world, Laine had already been waiting for this day.
No mortal could simply vanish into thin air in front of the Primordial Gods, and if it happened, it either meant she was not a mortal or the world itself was responsible.
However, Io, who had been oppressed by Zeus, obviously wasn't some hidden important figure, so following the legends of later generations, Laine easily locked onto the only possible conclusion. Since the existence of the Nine Realms proved that Chaos wasn't the only world within the void, the closely related mythological system from the legends naturally also had the possibility of appearing.
The mortal princess had already taken a step ahead, and the gods were soon to follow after. Although Laine didn't think they would really enter that world like Io had, at the very least, the gods could bring him to the gates of Hemenu.
