There's a sense of vast oceans allowing fish to leap, of lofty skies where birds may soar.
Nowadays, the worlds of ordinary people and Evolvers are clearly delineated yet harmoniously integrated.
The lives of Evolvers are thrilling but dangerous, living each day in battles of blood and fire, yet they revel in the pleasures brought by Transcendent powers and witness unique landscapes.
On the other hand, ordinary people lead lives that are plain but safe, from going to school to working, from marrying to having children, gathering for meals with family and friends from time to time, and occasionally spending some money to travel; apart from more advanced technology, their lives aren't much different from those five hundred years ago.
As long as they're not deliberately seeking thrills by getting involved with the Transcendent.
Deities and Specter Fiends and such have little to do with the ordinary folks.
