Inside the third altar was placed a saucer of wine, with military flags arranged next to it, completed with writings, interpreting itself as the Heavenly Demon King from the sixth day.
In every altar, there were four somewhat younger witches, holding naginatas, sitting at the four corners of the altar as guards.
And by the edge of the spiritual spring, a group of older witches sat encircled, pinching prayer beads and chanting mantras as if they were nuns.
Beyond the altars and the spiritual spring, one could see not far away, the main hall of the shrine placed on a small mound.
It was a small wooden shrine, just a tad larger than a land god temple, resembling a gilded palanquin from afar, but it was encircled with layers of talismans and demon-sealing circles, and the exterior was covered with such talismans as well.
The shrine's plaque also bore a line of characters.
