"Li Pan, you never intended for Yaziko to live, did you?"
'Akiyama Yaziko' snorted, "You're joking, let you trace her down here? No way."
Li Pan nodded, "Well, yes, what good end could come from dealing with a tiger."
'Akiyama Yaziko' sneered,
"None of your damn business. Do you have any idea how much money we've spent on the 'Divine Chariot'? The Akiyama Family, such a useless bunch, couldn't even secure a tomb. Do you think failure comes without consequences?
Even if I didn't do it, Takamanohara would sooner or later target them for the Heavenly Demon King's plan—they wouldn't survive anyway."
Li Pan thought for a moment before speaking,
"Then let's leave her daughter to me. Exterminating an entire family is too damaging to one's moral integrity. It's better to leave someone alive. After all, leave a line, and it's easier to meet in the future, right?"
'Akiyama Yaziko' laughed heartily,
"Li Pan, you're quite interesting. Alright, deal."
"Alright, deal."
