The invisible assassin immediately used his footwork to conceal his steps, quickly catching up in an attempt to stab from behind.
With the other party utilizing accelerated invisibility and moving too fast, Li Pan couldn't fully pinpoint his location and could only make an educated guess. He braced himself, and just as the blade was about to pierce his back, he suddenly flung the brain case in his hand behind him!

Despite being extremely cautious and maintaining optical camouflage without making a sound, the assassin dodged the brain case at the last moment, but still thrust his blade forward.
The sharp blade pierced through the chest, hitting Li Pan's lung. Fortunately, he had already removed the Mantis Blade earlier; this new blade seemed to be a dagger or some sort of short knife, otherwise it would have penetrated straight through him on the spot!
