Li Pan hesitated for a moment, then got out of the car and followed the man with glasses.
The other agents from the Security Bureau, including Uncle Chen, didn't even have the clearance to enter; they all waited outside the door.
Upon entering the tower and passing through several layers of security, Prince Cornelius appeared at the end of the corridor, nodding in acknowledgment to the two men.
"Director Akagi, Manager Li."
Akagi... oh my! The Director! This guy is actually the head of the local Security Bureau branch 0791! So he's the chief of all the bureau agents! No wonder he's so imperious...
"Consul."
Director Akagi nodded.
Li Pan said with a smile, "Yo, Prince, how's K doing?"
Prince Cornelius nodded,
"Thanks to your concern, she is recovering well and will soon be able to return to duty."
"No rush, no rush, after losing so much blood, she needs good care and rest, lots of rest."
Seeing Prince Cornelius in person, Li Pan had some idea what he was there for.
