At 8 p.m., David was frying a steak in his apartment when the doorbell rang, forcing him to turn off the stove and go to the door.
There was a smart panel by the door, which could open the main entrance of the apartment building below and also show the visitor through a camera.
David immediately switched on the camera and saw it was none other than Selina, who had already visited once before.
After a moment of thought, David pressed the button to open the entrance downstairs and then opened his door.
A few minutes later, a ding from the elevator announced Selina's arrival as she walked out and said, "Director David, I hope I'm not disturbing you?"
"Of course not, it's only eight o'clock, come in and we'll talk," he replied.
After entering, Selina caught the rich scent of the steak and commented, "Haven't had dinner yet, Director David?"
