Nisen nodded, then his tone shifted, "By the way, about my partner's issue..."
David interrupted, "I know, I'm trying my best to look for someone for you, you don't want just anybody to be a burden, do you?"
"Of course not, okay, you go ahead with your work!"
About half an hour after Nisen left, someone knocked on David's office door again.
"Come in!"
This time, it was Deputy Director Megan who came in. She first inquired about some matters regarding the CIA.
When she learned that David had already forced the other party to pay taxes and the information had been archived, she couldn't help smiling and praised him.
"Oh, there's something I need to tell you!"
Megan placed a document on the desk and said, "Isn't your team missing an Inspector? Don't bother looking anymore!"
David's face showed a hint of surprise upon hearing this.
By all accounts, Megan's position wouldn't involve dealing with specific matters regarding Inspectors.
