"If I step forward now, who can assure me that with his methods, he won't do something to me? I'm about to retire and don't want to get involved in too many disputes…"
Nancy showed a troubled expression.
"Speaker Nancy, I know you are about to retire, but don't forget that the midterm elections have already started. Now that David has reached agreements with so many congressmen, can your plans really be implemented smoothly?"
Upon hearing this, Nancy's expression immediately darkened.
But before he could continue his thoughts, Joshua added, "You just mentioned that Josh has colluded with David, and who finalized the legislative number?"
