Watching the three individuals express themselves, David nodded with satisfaction. However, he also noticed a subtle unease among them and reassured them, "Don't worry. I called you here today not to target you, but to offer you a benefit."
"Benefit?"

"Regarding this matter, I must explain, Director David, that the Wall Street Journal and the other media outlets have nothing to do with me. It wasn't me who instructed them to do this!"
