Dusk gazed down upon the whole of Kanagawa, like a golden crescent fallen from the skies, kissing the countryside.
Smoke gently rose from the village, accompanied by the occasional bark of a Shiba Inu and the cry of cicadas, as if it were a distant, hazy dream.
A black Bentley pulled up at the entrance of the village.
The little secretary stepped out of the car with curiosity,
"Miss, are you going to stay here tonight?"
"Hmm, you all can go back directly,"
lacing her arm through Haruka Yuzan's, Otome Mizuko waved her hand nonchalantly,
"As long as Haruka is here to protect me, I don't need you all."
"But..."
The little secretary wanted to say more, but her charge had already begun walking toward the village, her arm linked with the young man's.
"Let's go, Haruka, these past few days I've missed you so much...."
Otome Mizuko's tender voice faded into the distance, and watching the departing trio, the little secretary let out a helpless sigh.
