"It's okay."
Haruka Yuzan shook her head.
"I'll watch over Misaki. You go and do your things..." said Arisugawa Hoshina in a soft voice.
Originally, she had planned to stay by her side, but after giving it some thought, Haruka Yuzan finally nodded:
"Alright, let me know in advance if anything comes up."
"Sure!"
Arisugawa Hoshina gave an 'OK' gesture, waving her hand to signal Haruka Yuzan to leave. The normally fiery tomboy had subconsciously quieted down, silently lying at the bedside, watching the little one sleep.
The sleeping Misaki was like a peaceful little cat, her breathing even and soft, as if all the world's affairs had nothing to do with her. Her face looked especially serene in the sunlight, as though the stars themselves were keeping vigil over her.
Haruka Yuzan tiptoed out of the room.
Downstairs in the living room, Reiko Onodera and Chiba Shimizu were preparing dinner in the kitchen, while Haruka Yuzan opened the virtual panel.
