The cool voice echoed faintly within the bedroom, and Haruka Yuzan was at a loss for words when the girl mentioned it. He had touched upon the secret concerning Chiba Shimizu before, but he hadn't expected it to come out today, after all.
After thinking it over, to argue would be to cover up one's misdeeds. The young lady spoke the truth, and it was better to admit it openly,
"Well.... okay then....."
"Please don't give up on yourself, Classmate Haruka, there's still hope for you." Chiba Shimizu seemed to be comforting the boy.
His response to this kind of consolation was a mix of bemusement and curiosity.
"So, Chiba-san, what do you plan on doing?"
"I don't have a complete plan right now."
Chiba Shimizu shook her head. How could she possibly have an impromptu idea and come up with a complete strategy on the spot?
