Evening, 7:50 PM.
Apex Academy, a ghost town.
Of course, this actually has nothing to do with the broadcast of "Vanguard". At this time every day, there's hardly anyone outside the academy, the gym and the simulation chambers are much busier than the garden areas within the academy.
As a professional Vanguard, I hold such variety shows in the Simulated Secret Realm in utter contempt. Even if someone were to watch them, it would largely be variety show enthusiasts just looking for a laugh, without any expectations of the show's professionalism.
But for viewers other than the Vanguards, it's quite the opposite. "Vanguard" not only exposes them to the style of professional Vanguards but also lets them rack their brains studying the rules, and incidentally, gather a fair bit of Secret Realm knowledge—who knows when it might come in handy.
