"So, will the Intermediate Court accept the case, or is there anything missing from my documents?" Old Tang asked the staff member inside.
He wasn't being held up with filing the case purely because of his reputation.
Otherwise, don't think that just because the registration system for filing cases is in effect, there aren't ways to hold you up when you try to file. Don't doubt that for a second.
The staff member inside looked through the materials again before speaking, "Well, Lawyer Tang, we will initially accept this, and if there are any issues, we can be in contact anytime, how does that sound?"
"That's fine, give me the receipt for acceptance," Old Tang nodded and said.
This receipt of acceptance needed to include the date, its purpose was very clear: it meant that if the court delayed your case later on, this would be an important piece of evidence.
