Lu Yuanming had no time to react when a nurse came over with an injection and gently jabbed it into his neck. In a mere few seconds, he lost all his strength. The drug must have been some sort of muscle relaxant or sedative.
The doctor and the others didn't approach him. After about twenty to thirty seconds, the nurse who administered the injection pinched Lu Yuanming's arm, checked his neck pulse, and then his eye pupils. After completing all these checks, the nurse nodded to the doctor and the rest.
Only then did the security personnel step forward to unlock the handcuffs and remove the restraints from Lu Yuanming's body. Then they placed him on a wheelchair, with one person pushing it forward, two other security guards on either side of Lu Yuanming, and the doctors and nurses following behind.
