Humanity has always prized spirit and will—even the least spirited and willed nations and peoples hold bravery, loyalty, perseverance, and sacrifice in high regard.
This is the overarching ethos of human civilization; no nation is an exception to this rule. Any that didn't conform to it have long since vanished during the thousands of years of the old era.

Extreme internal racial strife and exaggerated social Darwinism ultimately create a state of being internally crippled and externally submissive; the surviving elites of these races are cherishing their lives.
