She couldn't figure out what was happening. Could it be that the opponent wasn't a psychic but had truly obtained some legacy, or perhaps a gift with negative side-effects?
Were all these caused by high technology, not psychic influence?
Wei herself was a master psychic. She could also initiate a small-scale psychic block, whose effects were somewhat similar to an information blockade. However, this wasn't an actual information blockade, which was an effect achievable only by the miracles constructed by a Fifth Level Cosmic Civilization, involving cosmic string resonances - something unthinkable for civilizations below the top tier of Fifth Level.
