In a broader sense, such comments were considered detrimental to the harmony of the Alliance, the grand strategy of a brilliant galaxy, and the future of humanity. On a smaller scale, they also contained accusations of disturbing racial harmony.
Indeed, although they were extraterrestrial civilizations, some people now regarded these Silver Species as components of other "ethnic groups."
