Gracie's eyes were filled with tears, both due to the blinding and dazzling light and because of the deity's greatness and splendor.
It wasn't that no deity could disperse the fog, but there was a qualitative difference between their way of dispersing it and what was happening now.
Once a city-state had sacrificed thousands and, by invoking the divine might of a physical deity, had dispersed the fog over a battlefield, ultimately defeating the enemy city-state. There were also physical deities that descended in avatars to clear the fog on the battlefield of the War of Gods.
But those areas of fog encirclement covered at most dozens of kilometers, or at most a hundred kilometers, which was just an exceptionally large area of illuminated land.
Yet, her lord god had lifted the fog from an entire tract of land, so much so that although Gracie had no concept of land as such in her cognition, the size of this fog-free area was enough to shake one's heart.
This was her lord god!
