"Is this the hibernation chamber?" Lu Yuanming walked around a metallic long coffin, clicking his tongue in wonder.
The entire metal coffin was about two and a half meters long and roughly one and a half meters wide, spacious enough for a grown man to lie in with room to spare. There was a transparent lid on the front of the coffin which would close once someone entered, initiating the hibernation process.
Next to Lu Yuanming, a researcher was explaining the various aspects of the hibernation chamber to him.
"Through the analysis of the hibernation equation, we've confirmed that there are indeed dormant genes in human DNA that can control the entry into a hibernation state. In this state, the body's metabolism will drop significantly. Data from our three hundred test volunteers indicate that the maximum reduction in metabolism can be up to seventy percent," the researcher said.
