The room was not small, probably a few dozen square meters in area, and was quite peculiarly structured. The whole room could be roughly divided into two parts. The left side was an office area, with several long wooden desks. The furnishings were very old, and each desk was covered with a single piece of glass. On the desks lay books, report binders, files, and similar items.
Each desk had a standing coat rack in its inner corner, draped with white lab coats as well as some personal clothing items. One of the desks even had a red telephone on it which, in such surroundings, was quite glaringly conspicuous.
The right side had been transformed into an operating room, with three cold surgical tables neatly arranged about two meters apart from each other. There were also some supporting medical devices, and several metal cabinets placed against the wall with their doors tightly shut, the contents within unknown.
