Leaving Instructor Mu's house, Lin Shen made another trip back to the Dark Bird Base to check on the people at his old home.
As he walked through the base, which felt both familiar and a little unfamiliar, he experienced a somewhat different feeling.
"Lin Shen, it's been a long time since I've seen you," an old man greeted Lin Shen from afar.
"Uncle Liu, you seem to be growing stronger and stronger. I've been out taking care of some business recently and rarely came back," Lin Shen said with a smile.
"Is your elder sister doing well?" Uncle Liu asked.
"She's doing very well. She's running a big business outside, very busy, and has no time to come back. I'll talk to her and tell her to come see you," Lin Shen said.
Information at the Dark Bird Base was limited, and most people there only knew that something had happened to the Lin Family, but few knew exactly what had happened or how the Lin family was faring now.
