"Old Tang, thanks a lot."
Sitting atop the remnants of the wooden hut, watching the gradually collapsing village and the slowly disintegrating sunset, Zhou Li spoke softly, "If it weren't for you, I guess this time it would have gone to ruin."
"What's there to thank between brothers."
Under the wreckage of the wooden hut, Tang Wan stretched her legs and glared with boredom, buried under two planks, she said with relief, "I'm just thankful you didn't beat the guts out of me."
"I'm not that much of a beast."
Zhou Li was somewhat speechless.
"Really?"
Tang Wan was somewhat skeptical.
After pulling Tang Wan out, Zhou Li looked at the girl who had accidentally fallen and said with a bit of a headache, "Do you think my Zhou Ritual is some kind of startling intelligence that lets me use startling force to beat you up?"
"No."
Tang Wan sat beside Zhou Li, shook her head, and confidently said, "I think you want to beat up everyone."
