What is dignity?
Dai Yi didn't understand why there was dignity in her own eyes.
"You see, even you haven't noticed that there is an extra bit of dignity in your eyes."
The expression on the face of the Golden Snake Lady was somewhat strange, she didn't have the rage of being betrayed, nor was she sly and vicious. She looked at Dai Yi, with only an indescribable sorrow in her eyes.
"The Demon Race... has almost forgotten these two characters. We have anger, despair, unwillingness, and numbness. But uniquely, we have lost our dignity."
Leaning on the soft bed at the side of the warm tent, with her vertical pupils brimming with indifference and peace, the Golden Snake Lady gave a sense of profound wordlessness.
"Dai Yi, I won't kill you, nor will I imprison you."
She stretched out her hand, gently hooking away the Golden Snake. The Golden Snake Lady indifferently looked at Dai Yi and calmly said, "You may go."
