The Han King's Mansion's family banquet was not complicated, but it certainly qualified as luxurious. Whether it was the dishes meticulously prepared by dozens of chefs or the almost artistic jade long table, everything was dazzling and admired with clicks of the tongue.
His Royal Highness, the King of Han, took his seat at the head of the table, the seating order very similar to earlier. He gestured with his hand, signaling everyone to take their seats.
The Queen Consort of Han was named Liu Manshu, she sat beside the King of Han. The two seemed to be in a cold war, not speaking to one another, as she busied herself attending to the guests and directing attendants.
Once seated, the King of Han slouched in his chair carelessly. Leaning forward slightly, he tapped the Han King's Jade Pendant hanging at his chest and began to speak:
