Beiliang's three great unsolved mysteries.
Just how gossipy Hou Jue is, the two iron gates at the Imperial Academy Gate capable of fighting with a Spirit Qi Master, and then there's the name of Lord Qianhu.
For a long time, everyone addressed Qianhu simply as "Lord Qianhu," and Qianhu himself also referred to himself as Qianhu. When Hou Jue introduced himself to outsiders, it was always "Imperial Capital Jinyiwei Hundred Household Hou Jue." Only Qianhu was different; as if accustomed to his role, he introduced himself directly as "Imperial Capital Jinyiwei Qianhu, Qianhu."
It was strange, yet seemed perfectly natural. Everyone in Beiliang would intuitively address him as Lord Qianhu when facing him and not even wonder about his real name. It was as if an invisible hand was gripping the name of Qianhu tightly—odd indeed.
