Chapter 120 - The Yearly Banquet

Many years ago in United City while it was still open to the public, a yearly banquet was held with all of the citizens, including the saviors of the small town. Following the historic events, Mr. King, who was absent from his position in the present, would perform one of his many best selling songs or go on the stage and make jokes. But now that Mr. King was gone and everyone thought he was Michael, Michael was forced to perform in his place. Sako, looking at Michael in an embarrassing pink dress, laughed hysterically. "It's so unusual seeing you in a dress, Mr. King! Since it's been almost half a century since you've performed, I have a paper of jokes you can use!" Michael smiled. "Ummmm…" he whispered.

"Don't thank me, thank Abby. You know as the administrator of this lost city that I'm always lazy." Suddenly, Michael's point of view shifted to Abby, who was now a 55 year old woman. "I see the resemblance. "Maybe this just might be the same people who saved United City…" he thought to himself, regaining his focus on the stage. As the crowd erupted in excitement, Michael read directly from the paper. "What does a dog say when he is tired and needs to take a nice, big shit? AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Michael's face stood neutral as everyone in the room laughed, but he couldn't tell what they were laughing about - the joke or his pink, embarrassing dress? Embarrassed, Michael looks at the paper, blushing. "Who the hell is this Mr. King figure, and why is he THIS UNFUNNY?" Suddenly, Michael found a bottle of sake lying on the floor. Picking it up, he ignited it with the tip of his hand, throwing it out into the crowd. "I gotta get out of here, these people are crazy!" he exclaimed, igniting the entire stadium in flames. Among the crowd, Michael squeezed his way through to just barely escape. Pulling off his pink dress, all he was in now was his underwear. "I'm not letting people see me in that atrocity! Time to find Samantha, Gerald, Spooky, and Alex!" Back at the stadium, Sako sighed. "Send all units out to find Mr. King. He's probably on drugs again, so he will try to fight. If he fights, you fight back! YOU ARE DISPATCHED!" All the soldiers screamed. "YES SIR!" they all exclaimed. "This is gonna be a repeat of Death Desert! I can't give into those crazy freaks!" he exclaimed, running out of the city, deeper into the entity's mouth."

Sighing, Gerald fell to his knees. "How longer until we find Alex or Michael?" he asked, energy deprived. Samantha sighed. "You think I know? We're inside the mouth of a massive entity, who is a descendant of Aqualia, The Water Princess. Now, where were w-" Before Samantha could finish her sentence, she saw multiple citizens of The Lost City with pitchforks in their hands, ready to attack anyone that dared to stand in their way. "What the hell is going on?" Spooky exclaimed, jumping into the arms of Gerald. Suddenly, the giant mob stopped. "Have you seen a naked, crazy, drunk man?" the man leading the mob asked, dropping his pitchfork to prove his loyalty. He is a brown haired man that has his hair in the shape of a bowl cut, white, small eyes…"

Samantha sighed. "What has Michael done this time…" she whispered under her breath. "Mr. King has gone missing! We haven't seen him since the whole bar went up in flames!" one man cried. Another man, as devastated as the rest of the mob, held his hand over his forehead in mere surprise. "He's drunk again! We wanted him to perform his song that we haven't heard for a while! Sako told us to come out here and loo-"

Samantha snapped. "Sako? Isn't that the guy from The Legend Of Abby?" Gaining flashbacks from when she was a kid who read all the stories of Abby and her adventures with her friends, Samantha produced tears in her eyes. "Abby was real…? What about United City?" Suddenly, the entire mob went silent. "45 years ago, there was an attack unleashed on United City by this very entity that we sit in. Right after, it was wiped off the map now that nobody would be able to prove its existence. Ever since that day, we've been waiting for the time we have left in this entity to end. Since then, I heard Jayden became president of a city… Ever since we were consumed, we made this entire entity a civilization, but there is still yet to discover in this unlikely land. This is the Lost Civilization. Jumping up on Gerald's head, Spooky laughed. "Abby was real? Hell, I'm just a cat! I don't know who Abby is!"

Everyone stood silent. "Why was that speech necessary if you didn't know who Abby was? The legend was real after all, we just thought Jayden was insane! Anyway, I hope you guys have a nice time looking for Mr. King! We're gonna go look for our friends!" she exclaimed, leading her party away. Deeper into the entity, a middle aged Abby walked into a house where her friend, Matthew Marteniz sat. Holding up a loaded revolver, she smiled. "Did you hear what happened with Mr. King, Matty?" she asked politely. Unamused, Michael looked at his friend. "Can you stop calling me Matty, Abby?" he exclaimed, pulling onto his hair. "It's getting fucking annoying!" Blushing, Abby looked at Matthew. "Whatever you say, Matty. Anyway, we haven't seen Marissa in a while! She's probably out trying to escape the entity!" Suddenly, Matthew handed a paper to Abby. "She passed around these parts earlier… legend has it that she's in the capital." Reading the paper, Abby scoffed. "We haven't seen her in a minute! Let's go, Matty!" Again, Matthew growled at Abby. "I TOLD YOU TO STOP CALLING ME THAT, GODDAMMIT!" Holding his hand while running away, Abby snickered. "Alright, Matthew. Let's go find MARISSAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rolling his eyes, Matthew followed Abby.
