Chapter 101 - The Extreme Battle! 3 vs. 1,700!

Glancing around the battlefield with his glowing, red eyes, Michael let out a smile which showed his major confidence that he and his allies would stand victorious from the battle. "There's about 1,700 people here and three of us… but all of these guys don't look all that strong!" Tightening his fists, Michael smiled. Holding the knife that Hai held before his untimely death, he charged into the massive army with no prevail. "Don't rush them, Michael!" Trya exclaimed, killing her share of soldiers alongside her new friend. Gliding in midair, Trya used her snakes to inject venom into all the soldiers that dared to cross her, leaving them in agony. Back in the middle of the battlefield, a sweaty Michael noticed that Xavier had stood vacant for the entire time, not a single feeling coming out from his face. Before Michael could conclude this mysterious thought, however, 10 soldiers appeared right behind him, trying to put him in an inescapable chokehold. "It's over, kid! You killed our men with just sheer luck! Trust me, it runs out he-"

A red glow loomed from Michael's left eye as he transmitted lightning through the knifes, blazing across the swarm of people. As the men looked at themselves, in a matter of seconds, they all had a massive scar from Michael's knives "Damn it!" he exclaimed. "What could Xavier possibly be thinking about!?" Jumping up in midair, Michael took out another swarm of the angry soldiers that were giving Trya trouble. "Don't thank me, Trya. We gotta see what Xavier's thinking!" Trya nodded. "Right. Let's get across this battlefield TOGETHER!" Back in the prison cell of the Black clan, the lock finally was opened by the warden, who Ikama had previously seen at the torture chamber. "It's you…" he muttered, coughing up blood. Lola peeped at the man. "Is that the guy we're gonna have to be dealing with for the rest of our lives?" she thought. Holding a whip, the man smiled. "It's time for you to be escorted to Embercliff, you unworthy fuck." Suddenly, the man drop kicked Ikama, giving him another big yet bloody scar that sat over his forehead. "Y-Yes sir…" Ikama muttered, joining the strict prison guard with his chains in the elevator. Yamaha sighed. "I've never seen Father be that obedient… if this were a life sentence for him, he would've just gotten away!" Ramari laughed. "If those fucks didn't screw our plan up, we could've won for sure!" Lola laughed as she continued to taste her own blood, holding the agony in for her own good. "Y-You go-t…" Suddenly, a high pitched sound took over her body, leaving her unconscious in the chains that restrained her. Ramari and Yamaha gasped. "Don't tell me she's not gonna make it either!" Ramari sighed. "If we're in a prison like this, there's a low chance she's gonna survive. They just let you die in here…"

Finally reaching the ground floor, Ikama smiled as he finally saw sunlight for the first time in a while. Adjusting his whip to his preference, the warden continued to treat Ikama like a horse, leading him to the execution area. "Come on, you dog! I don't have all day!" Ikama, obedient but quiet, zoned out inside, thinking about Aybara's history and his other son who Ramari had killed, Trhama Black. "If we had listened to you, Trhama, I wouldn't be imprisoned in Death Desert right now. But people make mistakes, I just think we screwed up ultimately…" he thought to himself, thinking of the sword that impaled Trhama's heart before his death.

Michael pulled the sword out of the soldier. "Xavier, what the hell are you thinking?" Xavier shushed Michael. "I have a good pursuit on them! First place is almost at Embercliff, but we can damn well catch up to them if we try…" Michael celebrated. "We're gonna win the raceeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Trya, shushing Michael, asked her dear brother to continue as she flipped her beautiful blonde hair through the evening wind of Death Desert.

Xavier finally opened his eyes. "Let's get out of here, there's going to be really intense and deadly battles up ahead…" Michael nodded, overlooking the tons of corpses that all either had a snake bite, or were impaled with the Lightning Knife. Back on the broadcast, an exhausted Johnathan Lopez continued to watch over the race, spectating in boredom. "N-No… Battles… Happenin-" Suddenly, a massive boom was heard from one of the many drones covering the battle. Adjusting his microphone, Lopez screamed throughout the stadium of spectators. "FIRST AND SECOND PLACE… THEY'RE FIGHTING TO THE DEATH!" Murmurs were heard across the crowd.

"FOLKS, THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE BATTLE! IN FIRST PLACE CURRENTLY, WE HAVE iTAMA KAWASAKI, THE MAN FAMOUS FOR KIDNAPPING ZARA FAIMASA! SECONDLY, WE HAVE HIS BROTHER, KALEB KAWASAKI!" As the cameras finally were able to spectate the battle, the crowd went wild once again.

Kaleb and Itama were battling in this phenomenal race, but the real question still lay around: what the hell were they doing? Xavier sighed. "Now that we're in the phantom, we might just catch up to first and second place shortly. Note that we do have some runner ups pursuing us, but that won't take a toll!" Trya smiled. "Michael, I have something to tell you." Waking up, he glanced at Trya in question. "What happened?" Smiling, Trya looked at the night sky that sat above the phantom. "I don't think I'm going to take the reward…" Michael scoffed. "Don't you need it? We're an alliance, so we'll spli-" Trya put her hands on Michael's shoulders, giving him a tight hug. "You're going to win this, Michael. Trust me."

Michael stood silent for a moment, then glanced back at Trya. Hugging back, his faith was building up by the second. "I guess I may just be worthy enough to win this, Trya. Thank you for believing in me…" Trya smiled with a sprinkle of love. "No problem, Michael. Although we were betrayed earlier, we can still do this! For DD!" Michael grinned awkwardly. "For DD."
