Xavier laid his frail, soft hands onto the wooden table. Placing another used cigarette into the bowl, he prepared to make his speech. "So, now that our operation is complete, will you guys be returning to Crystal City?" Kevin froze. "I was so ready to battle, that I had forgotten about if we should go home yet!" Looking at Samantha for clarification, Kevin looked at his friend awkwardly. "Before we leave, however, we need Kaelan, Rian and Gerald. How about you, Xavier? Where are you going?" Xavier smirked at Kevin, then lowered his head. "I'm going back to Death Desert. Since you defeated Ikama, a new era will dawn on the horizon of Death Desert. And I'm also not planning on sticking around here for a while…" Alex, looking at Xavier, smiled. "Since you can go back into retirement, you'll no longer have to worry about the cops coming after you!" Xavier laughed, being engulfed by a sea of energy and relief. "You're right! I'm FREE!" he exclaimed. Now that the events on the mountains of Umue were officially over, word was spreading around not only Nahata, but the globe heard about the heroic acts of Team ENTITY and the formidable battles that had taken place on the faithful day. Of course, yellow journalism still persisted around the events (Team ENTITY identified as SUPERHEROES?) that followed. Although this was all the talk of the world right now, the same could be said for the innocent but dark land of Death Desert, but without the control of peace around the regions and cities. Now that the execution posters were being distributed across the city to be in Embercliff, many criminals continued to rob innocent families, businesses, and much more. But now that the Nahata Pact had gone into motion, these imbeciles were dealt with easily, both landing in the high security prison with Ikama Black and his family.
Meanwhile back in Scalia…
Scalia, also known as the Underground City, had just recently heard of the death of Cameron, their former president, after a battle with Felix Ender one month ago in the shambles of Diamond City. Ever since then, the land had not held a presidential election or campaign. However, the government had been hiding away important information from the public, juggling their job of finding a new president and (30000th word of World Summit) trying to join the Nahata Pact together simultaneously. Inside the former office of Cameron, however, two parties, the Progressive Union Party (PUP) and a representative of the new Nahata Party (NP) continued to struggle to find a deal for the small nation to join forces with the rest of the four superpowers.
"The world has fallen into a massive power imbalance! Now, the annual entity outbreak could happen any second now, and we're at risk of losing half of the forces we hold!" said the commander of the Scalia Committee, who was close friends with Cameron before his untimely death. "Now, two of the three members of The Big 3 are DEAD, including our leader! What else is there to say, goddammit!?" Adjusting his glasses, the leader of the opposing party sighed in defeat. "Tension has risen throughout the giant region of Nahata. I won't speak for my fellow leaders, but I do agree with you now. I guess I can report back to them and ask if the fallen land of Scalia could be a member of the Nahata Pact… Ever since we first heard of Team ENTITY, I've been sensing something rather eerie in the air… these kids have topped all of their classes, graduated at a whopping 10 years old, and they've joined the government so fast!? I've also done more research on all of their backgrounds, and it seems like their parents are either abroad or on a family mission away from their hometown of Crystal City… Dreamalia has shared the same fate too. Ever since Layla's parents died, she has refused to be promoted to the "Queen" position, marking a large stalemate in the history of Dreamalia. I highly recommend you reach back out to me with any questions within thirty days, though." Nick, the commander, smiled back at the representative. "Finally, some good news! Thank you for your decision, sir. I'll be sure to reach out within a month!" he exclaimed kindly, closing the door behind him. Now, the decision laid in the hands of the four leaders - would the Nahata Pact officially recognize Scalia as a member, or would they decline the decision? Hana's party, finally arriving back at the venue, were all shocked to see the current state. "Why is there a trail of blood in the snow!?" Rian exclaimed, looking all around the perimeter. Kaelan laughed. "Don't worry, Rian. Kevin's okay. (Atleast I hope he is…)" he said, comforting his best friend. Hana, side looking at the children, gave them the signal to leave the summit. "I have some unfinished business I have to deal with here. You children will have to leave." Zara scoffed. "We just reunited, now you're turning us awa-" Hana shushed her child. "Zara, I'll be waiting for you back in Death Desert with open arms. This is too dangerous for you guys, so please, LEAVE!" Gerald, leading everyone back into the forest, sighed in annoyance. "Jeez, we went through all that for nothing?"
As everyone departed from the venue, Hakim emerged from the shadows, looking at Haha with a mix of disgust and remorse. "What do you want now, woman? I've already lost to you once."
