Chapter 62 - A New Alliance! The Pact Between Nations!

Jayden slammed his hands on the table with a solemn expression. "You all know what's been happening in Death Desert over the past five years! The reason? They don't have enough soldiers to protect their country!"

Forrest rolled his eyes. "Sit down, will ya? I'll buy you a beer after the summit. Besides, you can't talk—your government is stronger than all of ours combined."

Layla smiled and interjected, "I received a letter from the Land of Trila's government… I still don't know what it says or means." She placed the letter on the table.

Opening the letter, Forrest scoffed. "They're recommending we expand our land and turn them into regions like Death Desert…" he said, reading the letter thoroughly.

Nahata, the continent where regions including Crystal City, Diamond City, Death Desert, and Dreamalia formed an alliance hundreds of years ago due to an entity breakout, had always faced challenges. After Pyron and Aqualia caused a major disturbance in Dreamalia years ago, the leaders defeated them, dismantling the entire organization and causing the regions to go their separate ways. This is why Death Desert's criminal system remains disturbing—many soldiers aren't strong enough to handle multi-million-dollar criminals.

Back to the present, an overseas land named Trila, home to the pristine entity Saharos, recommended forming a new organization called the Nahata Pact. The letter, written by Trila's current king, Una Sahua, stated:

"THE NAHATA PACT SHOULD INCLUDE THE COMBINING OF TROOPS ACROSS THE FOUR SUPERPOWER REGIONS (DEATH DESERT, CRYSTAL CITY, DIAMOND CITY, DREAMALIA) TO ASSIST SMALLER COUNTRIES IN THE NAHATA REGION. THIS WILL ALSO INVOLVE CHANGING YOUR LAND PROPERTIES TO REGIONS, MAKING YOUR CITIES THE CAPITAL OF EACH REGION. (Diamond Region, Crystal Region, Dreamalia Region)"

Jayden laughed. "And why should we listen to this old hag? The previous king died fighting a pristine entity!"

Forrest chuckled. "I bet Kevin and his team could do a better job than you!" he said. "Maybe just Kevin and Gerald!"

Jayden growled. "YOU WANNA SAY THAT AGAIN, DUMBASS?"

As the two continued bickering, Layla's smile faded into a frown. "We should continue discussing the Nahata Pact when Raja gets here, although I don't know what's holding him up…"

Meanwhile, in a distant battlefield, King Raja and Hakim stood ready to fight. "I'll get revenge for your troops detaining me for FIVE YEARS!" Hakim exclaimed, charging at the king.

King Raja smiled. "Sorry I have to end it this way, but I'm in a rush. This will be enough force to kill you, so be sure to hold on tight!" he said, drawing his sword. As Hakim charged, Raja's swift slash sent him flying through the forest, crashing through ten trees before landing on a mountain.

Putting away his sword, Raja addressed his escorts. "Let's get going, guys. We're already late."

Hakim, recovering from the attack, smiled. "I know I'll see you at the World Summit, Raja! I'll see Ganin, Zara, and Hana! Nobody will be safe from the Death Row forces!"

Meanwhile, 50 feet underground, Team ENTITY resumed their voyage to the mountains of Umue with a healed Kevin. "I FEEL LIKE I CAN DO ANYTHING!" he exclaimed, releasing a tremendous amount of Exothiuium from his limbs.

Gerald, worried that the phantom would burn, comforted his friend. "Why don't you just play with Kaelan and Rian?" he suggested, sitting Kevin next to the two children. "So, are you from here?" he asked.

At the control panel, Samantha glanced at the map with a semi-smile. "Xavier, are we almost there?"

Xavier grinned. "We still have an hour before we reach the summit. Kevin's recovery was quick, so we might arrive sooner."

As Kevin, Kaelan, and Rian played, Kaelan accidentally pushed Rian onto the control panel, causing everything to go black. Xavier, fuming with rage, screamed at Kaelan.

"KAELAN, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? NOW I NEED MY SMOKING PACK!" he said, grabbing a cigarette. As the mouth of the phantom opened, everyone began to climb out.

"Welp… I guess we have to walk from here!" Kevin exclaimed, leading the way.

Xavier sighed. "You're right, Kevin. We'll make it sooner or later. At least, I hope so…
