This was a rejected chapter from ENTITY: DEATH DESERT. Instead, it was replaced with Zara's backstory before it was published.
As Kaelan and Rian rush through Sunspire under the light of the moon, the night wind continues to blow the sand south (in front of the two boys.) "Any sign of Zara?" Rian exclaimed, on the lookout. As Kaelan scanned the radius of the area they ventured through, he let out a minor sigh. "Sadly, no. Due to what I've heard, Aybara is targeting the capital where King Haja lives." Rian groans. "But that's all the way in Sandtrulie! We can't walk that far!" Kaelan smirks. "Well, if you wanna get your best friend back, get your act up and just run - we'll get there by morning.
As Umai jumped up into the beautiful skies of Death Desert, attempting to dodge the Mythium + Fire combo Itama had unleashed on him, Itama, with a powerful force, shook the entire region, leaving a giant crack in the center of Sunspire. "I don't think I can fight this guy off with my full power!" Umai thought to himself. "I've been training my punches, but I don't think I can fight off Mythium and fire combined… As Umai continued to clash with the two elements Itama had unleashed. a fatal explosion was launched in the night sky, shaking the entire battlefield. "I'm going to kill you, Umai! That 300,000 is mine!" he says, lifting his finger up. As Umai continues to dodge the rays of Mythium that was being shot at him, he teleports to Itama in an instant, knocking him across the desert. "Gotcha, bitch." he said, smirking. Now, chaos erupted inside the giant region of Death Desert - Embercliff was preparing for an all out war with the Black and Faimasa clan, Umai and Itama were fighting it out, the assassination plan of the World Summit was still in effect, and Zara, a 1 million monster, was running across the desert with Rian and Kaelan in pursuit of her.
As the remainder of Team ENTITY cruised through Sunspire, aiming to reach Embercliff before chaos unleashed, Kevin obtained a powerful sense approaching at rapid speed. "Do you guys sense something?" Kevin says, looking into the night sky. Gerald, who was zoned out, looked back at Kevin. "Yeah, I sense th-"
Suddenly, a gunshot was fired from northeast, aiming right at Samantha, who was on the back of Xavier's horse. As Samantha repealed it, multiple units of police emerged from the area surrounding them completely. "We finally found them!" a police officer, also known as Remi Una says. As he lights his cigarette, he pulls his hazel coloured hair away from him, holding out his shotgun. "Samantha Parker, 350,000. Gerald Romanti, 400,000. And finally, the man who wiped out our Nama Village patrol, Xavier, Protector Of The Phantoms. 75,000. This will be the end of the road for you guys. And me since I'll have more than 800,000 dollars!" "Let's see about that," Kevin says, charging at the police. As Gerald continued to calculate the perimeter, he predicted about 100 police officers participating in the ambush - leaving 25 for each person. As Gerald grins at Samantha, he ignites a moderate amount of Blue Fire from his hand. "Let's go knock 'em out, Samantha!" Samantha looks at him, smirking.
As Kevin continued to knock the entire police force that was surrounding them out, he remembered Remi, who was reportedly the leader of the strongest authority unit in Death Desert. As Kevin calls out to his friends, he sides Remi with contempt. "Don't go easy on this one," Kevin exclaimed to his friends. As Gerald continued to impale the units with his blue fire in the hearts of the opponents, blood exited their bodies as they screamed in pain on the ground, prepared to die. Suddenly, a man with a sword appeared behind Gerald, leaving a small scar with blood spewing out moderately. As Gerald scoffs, he sees even more policemen coming at him. As he walks backwards to gain more space, he uses his wind and his fire to create a net, killing and burning all his opponents as they lay on the door of death. Suddenly, Samantha, who was preparing to fight, noticed 300 more units around them. Now, the battle was getting real - 350 versus 4. As she put down Spooky, who could deal with herself, she prepared to enter combat, spawning a sword of ice from her hand. "Come at me, you bitches," she said, glaring at the authorities that surrounded them. As Kevin continued his onslaught with his units, he noticed the thickening of the police units, making the battle harder. "Open fire!" Remi exclaimed. Suddenly, bullets poured all around the battlefield where Team ENTITY was, but it wasn't hitting them.
That was because of Xavier.
"Shit, you guys just had to come at us while you had the chance." he said, rolling his eyes at the police. Suddenly, the same sea monster that he awoke back at the village rose once again, cutting off all the heads of the policemen that came in its path. As Xavier continued his transformation as an unknown entity, he used his acquired element of electricity to electrocute all of the units that came at them, including Remi. As blood rained on the sand that sat below, the gunshots continued to repel on a forcefield that Xavier had put into place for Team ENTITY. "Shit! They just keep coming!" Gerald exclaimed lazily, still recovering from the battle with DDLFO. Suddenly, an explosion was casted on the battlefield where the police sat, breaking the forcefield and leaving Team ENTITY in chaos. "What the hell is going on!?" Kevin exclaimed, preparing to run. As Xavier flew across the desert due to an unknown yet unexpected enemy attack, he crashed into one of the many palm trees that sat around the team.
But it was all over in a blink of an eye. As the police force prepared to open fire on Xavier, Samantha and Gerald continued to scream, attempting to save the man in distress. Suddenly, Kevin emerged from the distance, sending a ray of fire and lightning to the police surrounding Xavier. As the impact settled on the battlefield, another explosion was casted, leaving Kevin in smoke.
"Are… they gone?" he asked.
"I think so," Xavier said, scanning the area. "We need to continue our route before backup arrives, or we'll get caught!" As Kevin nods his head, he catches up with the rest of his team along with Xavier, ready to continue their voyage to the city capital. "It's time.. to save the world summit!" he exclaimed into the night skies.
