AURELIA'S POV:
"Mr Diablo." Lucy says in a strangled tone. "He's so evil and wicked, but unfortunately, there's little anyone can do to stop him." Lucy says as she shakes her head sadly.
"You can leave. You can run away to another city. They wouldn't be able to follow you there." I say in a hasty tone as I remember all the evil things my former boss used to indulge in.
He's the devil's incarnate, and he won't stop until this business is folded and on the ground.
"I can't leave this diner. It's our sweat and blood. I promised Charles I wouldn't leave if anything happened to him." Lucy says in a solemn tone.
The expression on her face leads me to believe that nothing I say will change her mind, but I try anyway.
"But Charles is dead. From what you've told me, I doubt he would want you to stay here when it puts your life in danger." I say in a desperate tone as I grab her hands in mine.
