GIULIA'S POV:
"Am I interrupting something?" Aldo asks in a cold tone that leaves me to believe that he at least had overheard a sizable portion of our conversation.
"Nicolo was just welcoming me back, weren't you?" I ask Nicolo with a soft smile on my lips, taking the heat away from me and putting him under the spotlight.
"Yes. That's all." Nicolo says as he readjusts his tie, looking extremely uncomfortable.
"I will retire to my room now." I say with a soft smile as I excuse myself from their presence.
It's just a matter of time before I'm accorded the respect I deserve. Before I get rid of everyone and take my position as the head of all this family's fortune.
Everything will be mine.

AURELIA'S POV:
I breathe in the soft and chill night air as I step out of the train station. I feel hopeful. That maybe my world isn't ending, and that fate might just have something in store for me.
