AURELIA'S POV:
I hurry back to the room, the mental image of Alessandro and Giulia kissing making me feel like puking. I try to breathe calmly through my nose as I slam the door closed behind me.
A sharp pain runs through my chest, and I can't help but collapse onto the ground. I wrap my hands around my body, curling myself into a fetal position as I wait for the pain to subside. My eyes are completely dry as I find myself unable to cry for what I'm about to lose.
When I finally regain myself, I change into some jeans and a shirt and with my bag in my arms, I make a hasty exit out of the house.
I make my way down the stairs, relieved when I don't encounter any maid or guard who could immediately report my activities to Alessandro.
I make my way to the kitchen, deciding to exit through the side door. However, my footsteps falter to a halt when Nicolo steps in my way.
