AURELIA'S POV:
"What do you want from me?" I ask through gritted teeth as I try to suppress the fear slithering up my spine.
"I want you to stop. Whatever it is you are doing. This is way bigger than you and I assure you that you cannot stop it." Nicolo says with a sneer on his lips.
"Why do you think I'm doing anything?" I ask with a pause and with a wide eyed expression on my face, "Unless – unless you are the one behind all that has been happening."
"You don't know what you are saying! I have nothing to do with anything! I'm just saying that you should be careful!" Nicolo says as he turns in his seat to glare at me.
"If you aren't in the wrong, then work with me. Help me find out the truth. Unless you are scared and you are a coward." I spit out at him.
"You don't know what you are talking about. I'm trying to help you." Nicolo says in a harsh tone.
