"You know that, right? It's not an audit," I said.
"Okay, Naruto, you guys may leave." As they were about to leave, Jiraiya and Sasuke were just standing there. Kakashi said, "Okay, we have to leave." Sasuke said, "Okay, Naruto, teleport us there, will ya?" Naruto nodded simply. Kakashi was surprised as Sasuke explained how Naruto had mastered the Flying Raijin. He doesn't even need a kunai to teleport; he can sense chakra signatures from far away and teleport there. It was the third level of the Flying Raijin, more like instant transmission but more improved. Naruto teleported the whole Team Seven to the Sand Village, where Sakura healed... what was his name again? Kankuro. Then, Team Seven went after the Akatsuki. This time, Kisame and Itachi didn't arrive for obvious reasons: Kisame was busy being dead, and Itachi was busy in the village. So it was Hidan and Kakuzu who were there to distract them.
It wasn't even a problem. Hidan said, "Huh, I will kill him," and Kakuzu said, "His heart is going to be mine." They attacked, and suddenly both of their heads were cut off, shocking everyone there. Naruto was still running and didn't look back. "What are you guys waiting for? Get ready, they are not even real." They looked back to see that they were ordinary people used just like Itachi and Kisame, who is dead now. All of them went to the main position.
Meanwhile, Kakuzu and Hidan were quickly taken out. Even though it was only 30% of their power, they were still S-rank shinobis, but they were taken out so easily it wasn't even funny. They went there to save Gaara. The destruction was not complete as Sakura destroyed the boulder there. They entered to see Sasori and Deidara extracting the One-Tail. It was not complete yet. Naruto simply vanished and caught Gaara out of the statue. He looked back to see the statue as the Nine-Tails had explained everything about the Gedo Statue, so he knew about it. Naruto narrowed his eyes, got to a safe position, and used some of the Nine-Tails' chakra to heal Gaara. Now Gaara was awake.
They looked back to see surprised and shocked Deidara and Sasori. Deidara tried to fly away using his clay and escape. Sasori stayed to fight. Naruto and the others remained there while Kakashi and Sasuke went after Deidara. Naruto was now angry, pissed off because Sasori tried to kill one of his friends. Sasori was scared because he had heard how strong this kid was and knew Naruto had killed Kisame, one of the strongest in the Akatsuki. He had no choice. In a single move, Naruto sliced Sasori's puppet into pieces. Sasori came out of his puppet, shocked, and started to use his 1,000 puppets to destroy Naruto. Lightning and fire suddenly arrived, destroying the whole cave.
Then, the lightning fire dragon slammed into Sasori, blowing up the whole cave. Chio as well as Sakura, were also there, shocked. Sasori managed to escape somewhat, but Naruto was not letting him get away that easily. Sasori started to use his Kazekage puppet, as all his other puppets were destroyed like nothing. Naruto said, "You are Sasori of the Red Sand, right? You killed the Third Kazekage,
huh?" Sasori said, "Yeah, I assassinated him. I am one of the strongest the sand ever had," and explained his story.
Naruto yawned and said, "Well, that was boring." Suddenly, Sasori's hands were cut off thanks to the wind. Sasori said, "What? What happened?" Then, his legs were cut off too. He was a puppet, and Naruto knew it.
"I will not kill him, but this will torture him," Naruto said as he looked at Sasori, who was now ready to be killed off. Naruto then said, "Lightning Fox," and a great lightning force engulfed Sasori's remaining body, electrocuting him. The Kazekage puppet was destroyed, as puppets can be easily broken. Sasori was being tortured in front of his own grandmother, who was so shocked that this kid was toying with an S-rank missing-nin.
Naruto finally had enough. He pulled out his katana, something he rarely did, and slammed it into Sasori's heart, channeling lightning through the katana and cutting Sasori in half. Naruto was really pissed that they had tried to take one of his friends. He treasured his friends deeply, even though he didn't show it much. That's why he didn't let Itachi die; otherwise, he wouldn't have cared. Sasori of the Red Sand was dead.
In the meantime, Sasuke and Kakashi fought Deidara. The fight proceeded similarly to Sasuke's battle with Deidara in the original series, where Deidara tried to explode himself but escaped. Sasuke and Kakashi also managed to escape, leaving Deidara alive.
Team 7 successfully saved Gaara, who was quite grateful. Chiyo, though unhappy about what happened to her grandchild, acknowledged that Sasori was a threat not only to the Sand but to the world, so he had to be taken out. Gaara thanked his friends, and it was one of those rare times when Naruto showed compassion. He truly treasured his friends, and Gaara appreciated it deeply.
When Kakashi and Sasuke arrived, they explained how Deidara had escaped. Naruto, frustrated, said, "Damn it. He will die. Don't worry, Akatsuki will not survive. I know what they are trying to do."
Kakashi asked, "What is that, Naruto?"
Naruto replied, "I have an idea what Akatsuki is trying to accomplish. They are trying to revive a fearsome beast: the Ten-Tails."
