The strange fish was covered in bumps and had four long legs like a toad, a very long tail, eyes on the top of its head, and a big mouth, looking exceedingly bizarre.
It flailed its tail forcefully, kicking in an attempt to break free from Gu Er's mouth bristling with sharp teeth.
Sangmo looked at the ring of green-tinted blood around Gu Er's teeth and suddenly felt nauseous, "How can you eat anything, kid? Isn't this thing poisonous?"
Gu Er made a sound from his nostrils, "That's impossible. We Zither Insects are immune to all poisons."
Sangmo reached out to grab the strange fish by the neck, "Just to be safe, you'd better let go."
Upon hearing this, Gu Er opened his mouth and spat the strange fish out. He was about to speak cheerfully when he suddenly found his teeth had become extremely soft, like mud.
He was startled and quickly spat out saliva, "Damn it! This thing really is freaking poisonous!"
When Sangmo heard this, he looked at the strange fish in his hand.
