The voice was full of resentful complaints mixed with an undertone of indignation, word by word, like a ghost seeking retribution.
Sangmo had never known that mere whispers could be so terrifying.

Under the moonlight, the mirror on the dressing table suddenly lit up with a faint purple glow.
Sangmo subconsciously swung her palm and shattered the mirror.
The room once again fell into a deathly silence.
Huang Cuihua, looking bewildered, gazed at the broken mirror on the dressing table and then turned to Sangmo.
She cautiously asked, "What happened?"
Sangmo's heart was pounding. She opened her mouth but couldn't make a sound for a long while.
"It's nothing. Let's go to bed and sleep."
Huang Cuihua was still not at ease. "Hey, do you still want some water?"
