Sangmo recounted her experience of entering the city in detail to Guan Nan.
Guan Nan's eyes widened in disbelief, "Is that really true?"
This was the first time Sangmo had seen him lose his composure, "Of course, you think I would lie to you?"
She turned around in front of Guan Nan, showing him her male disguise, "Otherwise, why do you think I'm dressed like this?"
A flicker of embarrassment crossed Guan Nan's handsome face, and after a moment of deep thought, he looked up again, "I will go to see the Abbot."
Sangmo quickly grabbed him, "Wait a moment."
Guan Nan turned his head, looking at Sangmo with confusion.
Sangmo said, "You must not tell anyone about me."
Although Guan Nan didn't understand why it should be kept secret, he promised nonetheless.
After Guan Nan left, Sangmo went back to her room to rest.
Half an hour later, a novice monk came to deliver the evening meal.
