After a long search, Sangmo finally settled on a courtyard by the river with a grape arbor.
After a simple cleanup, Sangmo moved out of the inn and into the new home.
After paying the silver, Sangmo, linking arms with Li Zhaodi, said, "Sister, I really can't thank you enough today, let me treat you to dinner."
As she spoke, she winked and added, "You pick the place!"
Li Zhaodi smiled softly and looked down, "Okay!"
The place she chose was an outdoor lamb skewer stall by the roadside, run by a middle-aged couple from the north.
"Their lamb has no mutton smell. I suggest you try a bowl of their lamb soup, it's really delicious."
Sangmo nodded and called out like Li Zhaodi did, "Boss, two bowls of lamb soup, a plate of grilled lamb, and... what's that... two roasted flatbreads, and a few cold dishes."
As dusk fell, the two sat at an outdoor table next to the lake, from time to time boats laden with loquats sailed by.
