Qu Tong did not disappoint either, smiling as she accepted the gift. But, is this really a potato?
"Isn't this a cherry tomato?"
Xixi shook her head, explaining earnestly word by word.
"The bottom part is the potato. Someone in the big potato farm planted them, so I planted these small ones. The top is the cherry tomato. You just cut them open when they are seedlings and tie them together, and that's it. Uncle Ke Jun taught me this, but many of them didn't survive—only this one did."
Listening to Xixi's words, Qu Tong couldn't help but be amazed at Ke Jun's cleverness and Xixi's hands-on ability.
It was indeed surprising that Ke Jun could think of grafting, and he probably didn't mention it to her because the survival rate was low and it wasn't cost-effective.
But she had her cheating artifact, the Wood-element Ability, so it was definitely worth considering in the future.
"Xixi is really great, thank you, Xixi." Qu Tong patted Xixi's head.
